Shearwater Petrel Technical Dive Computer for Open & Closed Circuit
For sale is my Shearwater Petrel Dive Computer.
The computer in superb condition with no scratches or blemishes of any kind and looks brand new.
The computer was manufactured in 2014, however it wasnt taken out of its box and used until last year; and since has only completed 38 dives hence its excellent condition.
It comes with VPM-B installed, giving the user the choice of deco models, i.e. Gradient Factors or VPM.
It also comes with a protective cover from Technical Dive Components. This cover encapsulates the computer completely, giving complete protection.
The screen has a protective film which was factory fitted and is user replaceable (Can be bought from Narked@90).
The wrist straps are brand new and have never been used (Had my own bungees).
The unit has been upgraded to the latest firmware v44.
This unit has all the features of the Petrel 2 except for the built-in compass.

Details from Shearwater:
Full decompression dive computer incorporating the Bόhlmann ZHL-16C algorithm, with user configurable Gradient Factors (GF).
Includes open-circuit and closed-circuit Air, Nitrox, Trimix and an OC Recreational Mode.
The included CCR mode for rebreathers provides the ability to perform constant PO2 set point calculations for deco.
During a decompression dive, the Petrel provides complete information and displays of all required stop times. The Petrel can provide time-to-surface based on "look ahead" at planned gas switches. Multiple gas definition presets are supported with any combination of oxygen, nitrogen and helium. The Petrel will NOT "lockout" after a missed stop or ascent rate violation. The display can automatically adjust intensity based on available light to make the display easily readable whether on the surface in sunlight, in open water or in a cave.
Accepts any type of AA size battery including alkaline, lithium and rechargeable.
